(A.K.Balamurugan) - About my name

It was around the year, 1996, that I got this interpretation of quantum mechanical wave functions. It was the result of the pondering on the question, "What can a complex quantity (the wave function) mean in representing the (probabilistic) existence of a Physical System?" I believe that there is something more than a mere 'mathematical convenience' of complex algebra.

The squares of the real and imaginary parts (conventionally, through the 'mod square sum’) of the wave function, taking part in the probabilistic existence of a system, are positive and negative respectively. We find a negative quantity in representing the existence of a physical system! This interested me in understanding this. By negative length or negative time, we simply fix a reference, and define the negativity as a direction with respect to that reference point. But what about the negativity of existence implied the quantum mechanical wave functions?

I got the the clue by conducting the following thought experiment. Suppose that there are two objects. We take one out of them. The remaining is one. Take one more out. The remaining is zero. Take one more out! Possible? If possible, one more object that is exactly opposite (negative) to that of the 'newly created' object, will be created, for 'conservation'! This is what is meant by the positive and negative existences given by the complex wave functions. However, ‘we’ cannot create such opposite objects from nothing. It is a special source, the subtle source, from which God creates the physical universe. In addition, as said earlier, the action of creation is beyond the physical laws.

**Time**

Let us now think about the 'dimension', Time. Let us have an analogy between the space and the time. The spaces with opposite polarities, that is, positive and negative spaces, although difficult to comprehend, are conjectured in these theories. The positive and negative time also have to be conjectured in a similar way. The negative time does not mean the ‘past’ here, just as the negative space in these theories does not mean a reversal of direction in the conventional sense. Just as positive and negative space is created from the subtle source, positive and negative time is also created from the subtle source. The concept of positive and negative time in these theories may be as difficult as (or even more difficult than) the concept of positive and negative space, to understand, in these theories. Thus, Time is also a created quantity.

One of the major tests for these theories can be their ability to explain the cosmological observations, the dark matter and dark energy.

**As suggested earlier, one of the tests can be that astronomers can look for the conversion events between physical matter and energy ('Pair production' like events) in regions of space where dark matter (subtle matter) is abundantly available and sufficient flux of gamma rays of sufficient energies reach there.**
